It started out we were just aquainted,
That was the way it should have stayed.
But then it started to become more,
And then he stole my heart away!

What was this, why was it me?
I wasn't ready for this undesired love.
But I find myself wanting it more and more,
Like a gift from the gods high up above.

I've always been the strong young girl,
Prepared to face the hardest test.
But falling in love with Gourry, now I've seen,
Has turned out to be the hardest yet.
